Quality that Counts

Inline Image

What makes for a happy customer ? We are constantly asking customers and ourselves this question and the answers are all similar in so many ways …

Product quality is more important to most people than delivery time, or cost – good meat is the starting point and great spices give an authentic SA flavour to our biltong and droewors; but almost every person put ‘freshness’ at the forefront of their answer.  Did you buy and enjoy vacuum packed biltong back in SA ? We certainly wouldn’t have bought it unless we were desperate and luckily even here in England, you do not need to be ‘desperate’ ! At Biltong Direct we believe in selling only the best quality products and that includes packing every order FRESH. Shop customers get biltong and droewors straight from the drying cabinet but internet customers do not miss out …. We select and pack each order according to the customer’s requirements.

Unfortunately when specifying either wet or dry, lean or fatty, this sometimes means we have to wait for the biltong to be ‘just right’. Yes, that may mean an additional couple of days waiting for your order to arrive, but the fact that we are constantly receiving the highest praise for our products, tells us that you would rather wait a bit and be SA tisfied when you open your packet. Andre or Rose will usually phone to let you knowif there will be a delay, but please forgive us if we are just too busy. Every order is important and will be dealt with as rapidly as possible, but great quality cannot be compromised.

The Discount Code for May is: QUALITY

Canvey Island SA Shop News

It would be so good to be able to supply internet customers with the same range of goodies as we stock in the shop but alas, practicalities of delivery prevent this. So Shop customers, you are the lucky ones.

Braai Season has started …. Chicken Flatties are ‘flying’ out of the shop and our new Braai Packs are proving popular too. The wood from Namibia is also a ‘hot’ favourite. All those people who have tried it, find it such good value for money and enjoy the unique flavour it gives the meat.

Last week we introduced Venison and Ostrich steaks, which we will continue, depending on popular demand. Our renowned Rump Steaks are in stock again and Sosaties will be back soon too.

Hopefully the recent shortages in stock (thanks to a couple of containers spending too long at sea) will soon be over, and gradually the shelves are starting to fill up again. Marinades are all coming in and as always we are happy to try to get in any particular items you need, just let us know what you are wanting.
